Aerophone club was created in 2017 as a way to bring together interested woodwind instrumentalists in exploring, learning, and celebrating traditional music on our tune-sticks. Over the years we have continued to grow, and are now in a position to offer 4 workshops a year across the uk, regular online sessions, and a residential summer course in France.
With a focus on the repertoires of England and France, Aerophone Club participants can expect to meet folk-specific instrumental technique, exciting and rarely-heard repertoire, opportunities to develop ensemble skills, help with learning by ear, and meet some genuinely wonderful, like-minded folks.
